I thought that this was a really beautiful and outstanding picture, deserved to do much better. Perhaps you could reshoot it with a newer candle, to catch the flame and also real flowers. But the lighting and colours on this are so pretty.

Composition-Content
Your composition is great here, it is a very "clean" image, nice and simple. Th positioning of the coffee maker is good, without including the whole thing, but understandable to the viewer what it is. The tilt of the mug also adds interest and enhances the overall composition. I think that overall the choice of excluding a dairy product was a good one and added a new twist to the challenge, but it might have cost you a few votes, as the challenge was to photograph something dairy. Personally, I like it.
Tehnical
Focus is sharp and I like the use of grain, which I think adds atmosphere to the shot. Also, the blue tint is good, not overdone but adds another element to the overall content of the picture. I like the lighting here, which adds a bit of contrast between the dark and light areas, perhaps a little more light on the right side would be good, which would decrease the uneven grain.
My Opinion
Great shot, I agree with Patella, kind of a stock shot, could be used in advertising. Good Luck in the next challenge.
