The reflection was a good idea, but the main part of the picture is a bit unappealing IMO, perhaps you could have tried for a larger reflection of the egg.

Great idea and set-up. Very original. Perhaps the focus is a little soft on the eggs but use of DOF on the background is good, just a little more needed on the eggs. IMO!

Composition-Content
You met the challenge well, in an original way. The angle that you have chosen is interesting and adds another dimension to the picture, however I think I would have prefered a straighter version! The textures are the main attraction to this subject and I think that you have captured this well.
Technical
I think that you have done a good job with the lighting, I like the way that the central part is well lit and the rest is fading into the background a bit, enough overall lighting but this concentrates the viewers attention to the central part. Focus is good, I wonder if a bit more sharpening would give this more impact.
My Opinion
Personally, the subject doesn't reall appeal to me, I like the textures and wonder if you could have made more use of this, perhaps more of a macro type, abstract shot. Interesting different approach to the challenge! Good Luck in the next one!
