Sorry, but this picture really doesn't even fall into competition with some of the other entries. I like the idea of "man watching nature" (in a controlled environment), but the technicals are way off. It looks as though the picture was taken with a simple point-and-shoot camera, with no flash used.

The composition and "pose" are great, but, technically, I feel that the image falls flat. The focus seems a bit off and the colors aren't quite vibrant.

This is actually a very good shot, with a very good title. That said, the technical aspects are a bit weak: the focus isn't quite right, there seems to be a bit of camera-shake, and a weak fill-flash might have helped bring the subject out. Nevertheless, it's a good picture. I'd like to give it a "6.5," but shall have to settle for a...oh, what the hell: "7" it is.
