Ha! I believe my son has the exact same pyjamas. A lovely portrait. You’ve captured a great expression. I agree with Bear and feel this has a better balance if most of the space above his hat was cropped.

I don’t know why but the moth is the first thing I noticed. I love the way you’ve captured its tongue collecting nectar. The colours are beautiful and she shallow DoF works very well. Lovely.

I like these types of street shots (well, in this case wharf). You get the chance to study the people living their lives. Such as the guy taking a shot of only two lights and no people – no idea of how to compose a photo. I like the fisherman next to the farthest light for some reason but it is the pigeon that makes the shot. Well done.

What a great find. Not sure why but I find this a little haunting. But then again, I’m not too fond of clowns either.

This has a great feeling of movement and power. The colours are gorgeous too.

You’re right, in Australia we wouldn’t call this a wave; it would be known as a ripple ;-)

I find the whole image quite interesting. However, it’s the cat getting warm sitting on the VCR that makes the shot so much more enjoyable for me.

The image looks so peaceful yet so loud. Love the title too.
