I like this one the best of the series. The ducks still hold court in the image, but there is a greater sense of place and a good parallel between the two ducks sitting together by the water, and the people doing the same.

I've enjoyed this shot for a while, and it was actually an inspiration for me to try one of my own the last time I traveled (yours came out nicer). I love the colors, and the abstract element to it.

Very imposing, all the tall white marble. The number of flags out front adds to that as well. You did well with this, the exposure looks to be just right.

This one is interesting - the doors all being open adds elements that help break the photo up and force the eye to travel around it differently than would be otherwise. I also like how it names the department, but in a roundabout way, instead of just saying it. Very cool.

Like the natural framing in this one, although the horizon looks a bit crooked - not sure if it is an illusion or not. It's a great contrast between new and old and I like the lighting - it's just too bad that the front of the City Hall got so hot/overexposed.

Great work! The colors are just amazing, the shot itself is well balanced (especially like the placement of the schooner on the right) and best of all, there's no sign of stitching where the photos met. This was certainly worth getting up early for!

I'll second Bear_Music, though, and say that some contrast masking to bring out the darks a bit more will add even more punch to this!

I feel almost silly commenting on your images - you're so far ahead of me that I'm just in awe. Anyone who says that photography isn't an art should have a look at these. Truely amazing. I think this is my favorite of them all.
