Road to Nowhereby aboutimageComment: This is a good shot. There is a definite emotive response to it; it just appeals to the eye and mind: Where is this? Where is the road going? What would it be like to follow it? In a technical sense, it appears solid as well. Cood contrast, good composition. Only issue is the sign in the distance, on the right side of the road. It's glinting in the light and that draws my eye from the "bigger picture". Maybe clone it out? But overall, Well done! |

Keep Outby aboutimageComment: Seems overly busy to me. I have a hard time deciding what the structure in the background is. Maybe color would work better? |

DPC2.jpgby JordanZComment: THis one is better, although it didn't have to be perfectly level, just not SO tilted. Hmmm...the white space is an issue, isn't it? I'm not sure how you would fix that, short of taking a plain chunk of sky from another photo and maybe inserting it here, if it could be done to look good. |

wallW.jpgby JordanZComment: Some tilt to the wall would have been okay, but I feel that you overdid it a bit. THe reflection is wonderful, and as was said before, the colors are right on, too. I'd say that something like 15-30 degrees counterclockwise would put you in just about the perfect allignment. |

lillypad.jpgby amberComment: You know, now that you mention it, I'm having some issues with my toenails... jk Ah, the picture. I am a fan, I like the contrast betweent he light and the shadows, although I think it would have been better if the upper boards weren't quite so overexposed. The dish with the lillies is very appealing to the eye, due to the way the light sits on the rim, not defining the whole thing, but showing enough for us to see what it is. In fact, this entire shot is a great study in light, and is well done. I find it easy to just sit here and study this shot - it's the type I'd be inclined to order a print of. |

Wrench Orgyby audinutComment: The composition of this shot is well done, as is the lighting and its resulting flares and shadows. And of course, there's the title :) Well done! |

Journalist tools...by beatlebrisaComment: A journalist uses so many other things too, though. I think I would have been more impressed if there was a phone in the picture too, and perhaps a reporter's pad. It's not uncommon to see someone using all three at once, in our newsroom... |

Oil Changeby snellslawComment: Oh, this is different...and neat. I am fond of the little lens flare in the oil stream, as well as the overall composition. |

The Best is Good Enoughby C_Steve_GComment: I see a lot of potential here...perhaps a less controled composition and a bit brighter lighting would have helped, IMHO |
