Yes, the backlight adds a nice translucent effect to the wing but the overall impact of the contre-jour on the image is low because there is also a lot of light from other directions. Beautiful but in this challenge not very strong imho

A bit too much colour, too busy for me.
And a few minor faults in the editing:
* left and below the tail of the yellow bird. a solid green patch with something (a leave?) in focus
* the way the red bird holds the branch with left leg does not seem right
* orange edges around the beak and head of the blue bird
