Majestic and Naturalby LydiaComment: I gave this a 7 and saw in it what it seems you did (after reading your comments). Difficult to leave the comment I want without puns, but .. the muscle definition in his body is amazing and well captured, coupled with the shadows over his body and the movement of his tail and the general intensity. Well done for obviously an isolated location where you didn't have much time to 'set up'. |

Just a visual response to your request for more information. Thanks for the PM and interest (and yes, my comment was/is sincere). |

The last momentby ZigomarComment: 1 - Don't understand the look on her face. Don't understand why you would want to take a 'practical, everyday (albeit rarely seen) happening' and try to turn it into 'art' (this is hardly photojournalistic). Don't understand your message, if you have one. Not sure that I care to try. I may look pc to see if you 'made notes', but otherwise, this is probably just another 'shock factor' image that portrays things that some people see every day - again, in a practical sense. The death of an animal shouldn't be 'showcased'. It is what it is and serves a purpose. Yes, all my opinion - but you put this out there. I am not 'shocked' by it, nor disturbed - only by your mindset in conceptualizing and capturing such an image. The photograph itself is quite well done and processed - but that doesn't change the fact that this is a staged image that twists something......... for what purpose, what. And your title only cements my translation of the image. Normally I'd give an extra point for creativity, but not with this. If I get no other message across (yes mine, not yours - hence the 'comment box'), this is disrespectful to the animal. |

"Let the Littles Ones Come Unto Me"by BudComment: 7 - Good image. At first the fact that she isn't (or seemingly) looking straight into the camera distracted me, but then.. I think that actually makes this more unusual and takes it to another level. Perhaps a crop variation may have made this image even stronger, not sure. |
