7 - Good angle and colors and reflection. Criticism; those 4 extra pixels would have helped this. If there was a little more sharpness (contrast likely was a big issue), would have made this even better in my opinion. Perhaps a more finely tuned crop on the sides too. Not sure on the frame.

7 - Excellent capture and if you did this one handed - amazing. Criticism; frame detracts, maybe a thin one, and likely different color may have worked but this one doesn't enhance your shot in my opinion, also depending what you had to work with, but if the quality was good enough, then just a larger size/crop/zoom. The forearm is dominating too much here, so perhaps, with advanced editing, some selective 'adjustment' there, as leaving the length of it in, adds a context that enhances this shot in my opinion. Although I think the (seemingly) 'front yard' feel here adds a good aspect, perhaps, again with adv. editing, trying to get it more subtle and perhaps slightly darker, enabling the bird and it's colors and wing span/movement to really 'pop more', would have likely made this even better in my opinion. Good unique shot.

5 - Very nice silhouettes, colors, scene - good potential, but, Criticism; crooked. Perhaps (depending what you had to work with) the inclusion of the top of what appears to be the cave(?) for a pseudo frame, would have made this even better as well, in my opinion.

5 - Clever idea, well done if it is original. Criticism; more subtle in my opinion would have made this better, perhaps a pencil instead of 'ink', not sure. Also in this case, not quite so close, or rather, some more space around, especially to incorporate that foreshadow more if possible. Seems a bit of grain which may be a result of too tight a crop, or maybe the grain is intentional, who knows. Not sure on the frame, perhaps black would have complemented this better.

7 - Very good. Looks like a familiar shot but likely just the 'tabby effect'. Criticism; the cropped ear(s) are noticeable, but this also works as is in my opinion, maybe some 'fine tuning' with it (zoomed/cropped tighter or ears included (depending what you had to work with obviously)), may have made this better in my opinion. Like the vivid color in the eyes and the seemingly horizontal 'patterned reflection' adds an off-setting element to this too. Nice focus on the brow and eyes, like the whiskers' contrast, difficult but with the nose and whiskers even sharper may have made this even better - but likely difficult to get 'it all' in good focus so not sure. Background blue is nice and enhances those eyes.

Criticism; definitely 640 width in this case would have helped, if the quality was an issue in not going that big (and you didn't have 'more' to incorporate) then perhaps even the inclusion of a complementary frame may have helped. Like to see that spadix sharper, although you may well be going for a 'soft look'. The shadow play is nice but if it were enhanced 'somehow', make this even better in my opinion. Nice colored spathes and spadix on what looks like an Anthurium. edit:typo

Criticism; perhaps an even sharper perspective (dependent what was there of course), incorporating a little more 'gutter leaves', may have made this better in my opinion. Definitely 640 height would have helped you too. Not sure on the frame, works, but perhaps just a little thick, not sure.
