Slow springby greslizzzComment: 7 - Unusual and good perspective. Not sure on the frame/framing, perhaps more space 'somewhere' may have given this a little extra. Like the unusual 'bokeh' effects in the background, perhaps a little too much dark blue in my opinion, which dominates too much and causes the focal point to lose impact. |

The only two 'nit-picks' are the center starting to show (minor and may be intentional anyway) and overall balance: perhaps more finely tuned on the left (more or less included) may have made this even better in my opinion. |

Ghost in an Orchidby blackhatComment: 5 - Nice. Like the composition. Wish it were bigger, 640 width in this case. Perhaps a more finely tuned crop (more inclusion of the yellow on the left, depending what you had to work with) and the fore pink a little softer, 'somehow' (difficult in basic), make this even better in my opinion. |

Hawkeyed by RissaComment: Apt that I make a comment on this now after elsapo's tribute to you, Tribute to Rissa in the Deja Vu II Challenge. This is still one of my favorite DPC photographs, and one of the first I added to my Favorites. The centered composition and simple coloring coupled with the straight down the barrel stare, make this such an excellent photograph.
