A Subtle Waveby ShamanComment: I may well have missed it had you not mentioned it. Nice, shame about the tail, but I'm sure you're aware. A more refined crop to allow the waver to dominate a little more may have given this a little extra. |

Camouflagedby carofoComment: Very, very nice natural capture (sure hope so anyway) - as difficult as I am sure this is/was, wish I could discern some detail in the owl. Frame works but dominates a bit too much in my opinion. Also would like to have seen this 720, if the quality was there. The feet are my favorite part of the image. |

Poserby roby21112Comment: Unusual. Nice colors and elements. Shame the tail is chopped, but fairly minor. |

Open Wideby BrianRComment: Nice capture. Don't like the loss of texture/processing though. Not sure the frame enhances this. |

The Ravenby jodis_evaComment: 7 - Like this. Difficult I imagine to get more clarity/definition (the outline) in the bird. |

Think Pinkby bobdaveantComment: 7 - Wow, nice. Wonder about a variation in composition and possibly a nudge up or down here or there for added balance. |

votes 148, views 216, Avg Vote 4.974, comments 9 (the bird is not sharp)by OdedComment: ok - votes 202, views 283, Avg Vote 5.02, comments 30 - without your title that may have been the bulk of the comments, but now you've spiced it up ---- my take is you've made a good and unusual image but yes I would like to see a little more detail discernible especially around the head and the angle is a little 'funky', but minor. The grain works well. = 5 |

Blue-throated Macawby androgeusComment: Nice, but it looks like a studio shot which, in my opinion, doesn't complement the bird, it's colors, feathers, etc as well as different (natural) lighting and a non black background - but apologies in advance if this is natural lighting. Of course, for a 'studio shot', this is quite good - but the white areas dominate a little too much, again, my opinion. 6 |
