Tweaked in DPP, then in Cs2, I adjusted hue and sat and contrast to pop the bird, sharpened, some minor dodge and burn. Then I did an NI pass and used history brush to bring back the feather detail on the bird, cropped and saved for web, then anotehr light USM pass.

I may well have missed it had you not mentioned it. Nice, shame about the tail, but I'm sure you're aware. A more refined crop to allow the waver to dominate a little more may have given this a little extra.

The bird is almost lost in the similar surrounding colors.

Love the title. Angle makes it a little difficult to see its face.

Very cute! Not only is this a good capture (the wave is adorable) but I love the blending blues. Works well.

Cute! I don't think I would have picked up on that if not for your title. Very nice colours, the background has almost the same colours as the blue jay.

A rather cute pose. Good catchlight in the eye. I wish he was turned just slightly so we could see the beak a little beter, but....it is what it is. Focus, color and saturation all seem just fine. Nice job.

Very cute pose :-) Whites are a little blown; I might have tried to do something with the ones in the background so the bird stood out even more.
