Odd Colour Combination

I've got good news and bad news. I would give this a 10 if I were simply voting on the qualty of the shot. However, I just don't feel the coloring is odd enough to justify this image getting a ribbon. In fact, without the title I wouldn't have realized anything was odd about the photo. Therefore I have to mark it down to a 6.

Wow! Awsome face. I get a little tension with the fact that he's so close to the right hand edge. Maybe rule of thirds would have been good here. But I have to reward such a wonderful face. 8.

Not enough motion blur to make it look intentional, but you're right this is odd. Why wouldn't one of the kids be wearing a helmet, and is that boy drinking through a straw?

Good idea and very well executed. I just don't like how there is so much black space the makes the frames appear that they are floating in a weightlessness. There doesn't seem to be a need for a reference frame of reference (no pun intended). But, it is creative so I'll bump you up for that.

This is Mr. Czaja. I think this definately qualifies for odd. I like the randomness of the photo. I think this is the perfect challenge to attempt something like this. Good use of color, light, and props to make this shot interesting. I don't know if you tried to use Unsharp Mask or not, but if not, it looks like it could have used it a bit. Good job!

I'm going to have to give you a 9. I love the subtle elements of the photograph. The sign advertising "Fun Food" contrasted with the lack of fun that we see taking place. Smart. Nice use of black and white.

That is one wild and crazy architect. But thin again the person couldn't come up with anything more creative than a cube: albeit a random cube with strange window placement and shape. Good eye and take on the challenge.
