This photo feels flat to me in terms of colour.
Also, I think it may have benefitted from a tighter crop focusing solely on the two middle birds, with less sand and less sky.

The colour gradation is smooth throughout, which shows that this photo has not been over-processed (a common digital post-processing fault)
The tight crop doesn't sit well with me though, and the spread and variation of colour prevents this image from communicating anything concrete to me.
A bit later with a full red sky, or a bit earlier with a full blue sky may have carried over a comprehensive message.

A dull day by the train tracks

Something about the power lines spoils this shot.
The leaves give an almost anime look and feel to the whole, but the effect is spoilt (for me) by the lines.
Also, without the lines, and rotated 90 deg clockwise, this could be a really neat art shot.

This is a really nice shot.
The clouds above give the effect of being blown around by the helicopter's "wash", as if they are a very direct, and very involved piece of the whole.
An illusion of course, but a good one.

It comes across as being flat in that respect.

I think it's your horizon.
Generally speaking, that is a no-no...
Otherwise, I really like the coloured reflections in the water surface.

This is a good concept photo.
I do get the feeling that the contrast has been over-done, however.
Violin playing (with particular emphasis on classical music), and this pose in particular, suggest a softness, which I feel is lacking.
