| i'm with you. i gave you an 8. i like the blade capture. very hard to do at those speeds without overexposing the background. |

I will refer back to my number one reason to rate a photo highly...interest. Photos are there to communicate and entertain first and foremost.
Beyond some cloud formations of some interest there really isn't anything there that draws me in to look for more. The only technical nit pick is that it doesn't feel so much like a silhouette as it does an underexposed shot of the bottom of a helicopter.
But..that is just one persons opinion. I hope it gave you some insight to my score. |

This is a really nice shot.
The clouds above give the effect of being blown around by the helicopter's "wash", as if they are a very direct, and very involved piece of the whole.
An illusion of course, but a good one.
