these colors rock (im a fan of high saturation :D), the composition is spot on - i just find the title to be a tad unfortunate... why did this gas station provide a night to remember? heh. I can gather from your description that it had some personal significance for you, I just don't think a neutral observer would 'get it'. nice work tho!

4.9??! 143/157??! Thats ridiculous. While I cant say that this should be a ribbon winner, this photo is so much more going for it than a huge portion of the pics that scored higher. Having said that, me thinks the center portion of this photograph could use some work. I love the left and right sides of this image, the colors, tones, etc. I just wish that cruise ship wasn't visible- like maybe I would have just dodge'd it out completely, lol... anyway, underrated :P.

I really like what you've achieved here - I love the concept, the perspective, and the lens choice. Regrettably tho, i have to agree with routerguy and confess that I wish the people were arranged differently. I know you did not have infinite choice in the matter, i'm just saying that if I was a painter I would have done something different in the lower-left quadrant. As it is though, the full outlines of the 2 couples there still look awesome, great job! Should have scored way higher than it did.
