100m dashby MarkComment: Interesting subject, but I think it is a bit of a stretch for a sports challenge. The composition is a bit too centered. The colors are nice, but it's almost as if the shutter speed was just a bit too slow, and the aperature too stopped down to really make the cheetahs pop from the background. |

Catch me if you can!by glad2badadComment: I love kid shots. This one is good, but not great. The composition is excellent. The expressions are priceless. The stopped action is perfect. The colors are a bit mute and the focus is really soft. |

Some Men Can Flyby hotpastaComment: Excellent use of b/w on this shot. It really adds the focus on the players. Good use of limited DOF and great capture of the actions. That is what sports photography is all about! |

Cliff Diving - No Turning Backby owenComment: The setup and composition are great on this shot. The colors could use a bit more saturation. And, at the risk of have this comment shunned for a broad use of DNMC, I think the diver should be more in the diving position to really make this shot stand out. |

Day 8.jpgby edmengComment: What an awesome photograph of such an interesting place. The Joshua Tree shadow really makes this photo interesting. My favorite part though is the graduated dark sky. I love skies like that. I also like the sepia toning on this shot. The weak side? Probably the low contrast in the rocks. Try a separate curves adjustment layer or two with everything masked out except for the rocks to bring out the contrast and detail a little more perhaps. |

Giselleby MarioAngelComment: What a nice candid capture. And great use of natural lighting too. Nice work on this one. I really like the catch light in her eyes. It's very interesting. |
