Not sure if the green was done for effect, it doesn't do much for me. His pose does give an impression of his mood but I would have liked some light on his face too. It is a good concept amd no doubt others will love it!

The image is just stunning, I love it. I just checked out your portfolio - there are some great portraits in there. My only problem was I felt this was a bit of a stretch for the environmental portrait - I couldn't link the headphones to the background at all. I didn't drop my score too much though, without the headphones would have been on topic, but not as strong an image... made me think hard about what to vote!

If anything the headphones gave the image it a wonderfully abstract feel... a 10 from me in "outdoor portraits" for sure.
