S U M A T R Aby hotpastaComment: Brilliant. Doesn't quite fill the frame but good enough to meet the challenge. I'm wondering if this is selective desat or not. Either way it's wonderful. |

Surfing the Webby dogzComment: Great focus. I only wish you a little closer to the bug or it was a bigger bug. I love the water droplets though. |

VWby mia67Comment: This shot is just so... cool. I bet you would have done well. Maybe not a ribbon but somewhere in the top 20 or even top 10, i'll bet. |

Desiring Photogenic Locationsby JudiComment: Wow, what a beautiful shot. Maybe not quite right for the challenge which is why is scored so low. Might have taken the blue in the recent Rural Landscapes challenge, though. =] |

Web of Terrorby DrAchooComment: Coolest frickin' spider shot ever. I had one similar, though not nearly as dazzling. Lost it when my hard drive decided to just give up on life one day. Congrats on the great finish. |

Boat.jpgby LuguerComment: Great B&W conversion. Nice composition/crop as well. The ginormous frame detracts from the image though. Even so, beautiful shot. |

Fast and Furious . . . Innocent Beginningsby glad2badadComment: This is actually a pretty frickin cool image. It was in my top 10. Too bad it's not super crisp and as noiseless as the naked eye-and doesn't have way over the top colors and contrast. Otherwise it'd be a 10 (regardless of what it was a picture of). |

Untitledby jaysonmcComment: I think it would have looked a bit cooler if the boardwalk (or whatever) was horizontally straight. But you achieved a nice effect anyways, almost making it look like two images. Just a minor quibble though, and overall a great image IMO. |

Halifax NS Bridgeby kristat123Comment: Nicely captured. Theres a good sense of depth in this image; the bridge almost appears three dimensional. The trees on the far side are a bit dark, and so it makes it a bit difficult to distinguish details, for instance the black building that isn't immediately recognisable. Maybe selective color could have fixed that? Or using channel mixer to convert to B&W? I don't know. I like it regardless of that. |
