Energetic Celebrationby PhantomEWOComment: cool shot...makes my stomach a bit queasy just to think of people on this ride! : )
nice delayed exposure. nice colors. wish the sky could be a bit darker to really offset those vivid colors...but nicely done! |

Newlywedsby philupComment: the bottom left corner is reflecting quite a bit of light back at the viewer...to the point that the woman's nail tips start to blend into the background. this makes for an awkward viewing of this image. i would be interested in seeing how this image would look with more diffused lighting, and warmer light as well. |

B O O - Rayby zapgrafxComment: is halloween coming?? ; )
i wonder how this would have looked under different shutter speeds? one could really play up the night lighting that way... |

Family Celebrationby SteveinnzComment: fun! in looking at this picture, the thing that immediatley jumps out at me is the guy dancing with the little girl. i would have loved to see a picture of just those two charming people having a fun dance! |

...Happy Anniversary Keturahby saloonstudiosComment: really emotive photo. nice composition and use of shadow. the emotion coming from this for me, though, is more like mourning a loss (the shattered debris in the foreground, contrasted with the unbroken glass, and the position of the model). it's beautiful, but it feels sad to me. |

Before the gameby whiteroomComment: cool shot! wish that center person had more of a smile on her face, but i LOVE the action and the feeling of excitement in this shot! i can just imagine them pouring out of the van and running over to the gate/field in anticipation of the big game... |

Woohoo! It's Raining!!!by dwterryComment: cute picture. like the energy and composition. like the black and white and yellow...although the feel like they are on the edge of being oversaturated. fun pic. |

Halloween Decisionby StrikeslipComment: were the pumpkins really that uniform a color? they almost look painted, and that detracts from the image in my eye. i like how your model contrasts against the setting with her bright, clear colors. |

Celebrate Life While You Canby meowComment: i think this is a graveyard, from the title. there is no visible definition in the bottom third of the photo, though, and i think some detail would have made this image pop out a bit more. i like the branches and the color of the sky, and i agree with your sentiment about enjoying life while you can! : ) |

Connectionsby pacpintoComment: when i think of connections to celebrate, i think of people first off. however, having a bridge to get to those people would be great to have!
in terms of the photo only, it's a very nice bridge shot. the sunset peeking through the clouds and reflecting off the water is a nice touch, and i like it being off-center. lovely sky captured, and lovely pastel colors. there's a point at your horizon line where the sky and sea blur, and seeing that with the rest of the horizon outlined makes my eye feel just a bit odd. nice, soft-looking landscape and sky set against a crisp bridge image. |
