Swanby kevrobertsonComment: Lovely detail in the bill of the swan. Wish the image would have contained the rest of the beak just for visual continuity. Then, the bill could really claim the spotlight. Right now, it seems that the space behind the swan is the focus because it is framed by parts of swan, instead of whole sections of swan.
Looks like it was a great day go to out shooting some pictures! You've got some great light to work with here! |

Frozen Lakeby kevrobertsonComment: Dark but lovely. The swan's reflection is nice, the dark water and landscape are nice. Nice light reflection on the water as well. I'd like to see the entire image be just a bit brighter so that more details stand out. Or, if it stays dark, I'd clone out the people on the other shore because they are too small and dark to really see, IMO. Lovely composition. Winter's here, and this picture really says it. |

Swan-2.jpgby kevrobertsonComment: The first thing I noticed was that the tail's a bit cut off, but then I keep looking and see the reflection in the dark water and notice the detail. I like this shot a lot. Nicely composed, nicely shot. |

God's Canvasby TranquilComment: I clicked on this image and couldn't stop myself from saying "OH MY G@D!" (That's a high compliment.)
This image is beautifully lit, wonderfully creative, has awesome color tones, very well done! Dang! Adding it to my favorites.

reviwesx.jpgby TranquilComment: You know, normally I'd say that the red tones are overadjusted here, but then I have to remind myself of the amazing blazing red sunsets we've been having lately. Perhaps the image could be a hair brighter to bring out more detail in the bridge and trees, but you may have tried that and said "nope, looks better this way" and I've certainly been there myself. A lovely composition and beautiful autumn colors.

Autumn Roseby puzzledComment: The colors are beautiful, and I don't mind the natural business of the photo. That cool pink against the warm tones of the foliage gives enough of a visual jolt that I keep coming back and looking at it. The contrast in color tones makes it feel like a touch of spirng in the fall. I like it.

NYC from a bus windowby puzzledComment: I remember seeing this when it was uploaded. This is a beautiful b&w image. Love how small the city looks compared to the skyline. The sharpness gives the city an almost surreal feel. Very nicely done!

Camerasby puzzledComment: LOL! I love the contrast in camera sizes, and how you've staggered the groom and the professional (I'm assuming professional because of that lens)...who's to say which camera will put out the better shot? I like it! The goods in this photo are on the left and center. The right side feels a bit incomplete to me...like I want to see more open space or something to balance out the image a bit more...
A classic capture! Hope the groom got his shot!

dreamy lily.jpgby danica22Comment: I'd like to see a wider crop to include that last tip of the lily, and I'd also like to see more contrast/shadow inside the lily itself. The soft focus would balance out the contrast/shadow, resulting in a beautiful, erotic flower photo that pops. Lovely lily shots, I must say! |

abstract lily.jpgby danica22Comment: Great composition, like the b&w, would like to see just a bit more lighting from the back to keep that back lily from getting too flat. A cool picture...a bit Imogene/Mapplethorp! |
