I'm guessing this will not score especially high. For me, the issue is the way the bird melts into the background rather than standing out either by blurring the background or using a lens with a higher focal point to get closer to the bird's head. Just my 2 cents...trying to be helpful.

Good color and detail. What holds this image back is a lack of interest or context. It's not quite dramatic enough IMHO to get away with being an image about "form" or "light". Granted, the nature of this odd challenge puts constraints on everyone, but some of the images others have presented still managed to add a bit more context or pop. Just my two cents...trying to be helpful.

Nice image. It borders on being a panorama, which as I read the challenge is not the intent of the challenge. Still, the emphasis on the sun and relatively little detail among the trees helps me skirt that issue. Good color and mood too.

I like the idea of the three trees cropped severely. The tires, though, are not a very interesting subject matter for me. Maybe if they were brought out a bit more instead of being relatively black and formless (especially on the left side of the image) the added detail would have cured the issue for me. Just my 2 cents worth...trying to be helpful.
