Caught in the Crossfireby MeMex2Comment: Such an effective portrait. He has a slightly sinister look in his eyes, which is amplified by the guns around him. I dont know why, but I really like the "15" on his cheek as well. Great shot. |

Absolut Protectionby AbraComment: Took me a little while to realize this was in a helmet. I think this could be improved by zooming out a bit, and including more the helmet. Great lighting in the bottle. |

Bugzeyeby PaulComment: Very nice take on the bug macro. The partially desaturated, high key processing in this shot separate this one from other bug macros. I think the score doesnt do this photo justice. |

N/Aby PrashComment: I'm very picky about selective desaturation images. They can work really well, but it is a technique that I find overused as well (I have overused it many times myself). In this image though, I find it particularly effective, as it draws attention to the leaves nicely. The strong lines of the bench/deck give the shot a nice geometric feel as well. Great photo. |

pretty in pinkby rozComment: I think this is an outstanding shot, and definitely in your comfort zone. You are simply a master at taking macro photos of insects. The strengths in this shot are the vibrate colors, and the shallow DOF which really focuses the attention on the hungry bee. |

Nervous Studentby colorcarnivalComment: My clear favourite in this challenge. I like how this wasnt just a random assortment of stuff, but rather an indirect way of looking at the psyche of the person. |
