Raining through the window

I just saw a photo in Popular Photography magazine(last year issue) that was similar to yours. It won one of their contests. What made it interesing was that it each drop had the reflection of a piece of a yellow taxi in it and the background looked like a blur of the taxi's window. It was titled Taxi drop-off. It reminded me of your photo so much I had to come back and double check to see if they were the same. I am telling you about this for future reference, because you are obviously on the right track if a photo so similar to yours won a contest in a very popular photographic magazine. Just keep trying, we're all here to learn something new.

I can't believe people are objecting to the grainy quality. That's what draws me to this photo, it appears like some kind of denium, dark bluejean material and makes the photo far more interesting than if it was a drop in smooth brightly lit water, bet you can find hundreds of photos like that. I gave it a ten.

Congratualtions Mandy, Like I said , it was my favorite. I thought it had a couple of things that technically could have been improved but the capture itself was so wonderful all else is forgiven.
