Death rides a pale horse...... I see this as a Christian biblical ref from Revelations. An excellent sense of theatrical stageing makes this shot - but also very good editing/colour - a most interesting presentation.

Really for me initially viewed as a traditional specimen format...... centered, but rendered with an apparent intuitive soft touch, creative with soft colour/opticalblur, quality translucent colour tonality - An accident, designed or fluke? I would not care to 2nd guess, as it matters little for this impressive result. fyi 9

Especially like the stop-action of the water on this....... a great subject to experiment w/shutter speed. Time of day/lighting & shadow is very good and placement/capture of kids cooling off adds a interesting, essential human element.... an excellent work.

I like it as much as \"Puddle of Leaves\" probably more.... as it appears more authentic. Warm, battered, backlit leaf, glowing - glorious red-orange , shine on the edge....... Sharpness is arguable - I\'ll acquiesce on that point - this works for your autumn perspective floating amid this moody backdrop.

visegrips are so useful, also one of my favorite hand tools....... nice opposites - some hard tool steel and soft soap flowing through a hose clamp (?), perceptive and inventive - good work.
