Enjoyable miniature and careful choice of subject - a bit more contrast would suit me & possible silk fabric might have been an appropriate alternative. The white lace seems to function as an environ, more abstract folds and dof could be considered. However, as arranged, the detailed lace takes away from the netsuke main subject to an extent.
