Desert Southwest Burrosby tfarrell23Comment: I like the muted colors in this photo. The landscape is georgeous. It is nicely framed. Maybe just a tad over-sharpened, but not real bad once I back away from the screen a little. Definately meets the challenge. Good luck! |

Morning Stretchby KneeforuComment: I like how the bird is well framed by the foilage. I think maybe this photo could possibly be cropped just a little closer. Otherwise, I very nice picture. |

Bathroom Duckby JPRComment: Nice position of the bird in the picture. I'm just not crazy about the manipulation of the colors in post-pocessing. I would really like to see this in its natural colors. I think it would be a whole lot more appealing. |

Say cheese!by MikeOComment: I love the expression on this guy's face. Too bad about the wire fencing going accross the picture. Otherwise, a very nice photo. |

Attackby jnevittComment: This is a magnificant shot! How you got your camera positioned just right to get his midsection and head in focus is beyond me. Even though it's just a tad blurry, it's forgiven in this instance. The lighting on him is perfect. I don't know if you noticed it before you submitted, but there is a sliver of picture missing in the top right portion. |

Wanna play woodpecker?by AnastasiaComment: Very cute photo here of the birds. You wonder what they are actually up to. Nicely focused. Shows good detail and depth. I kind of wish I could have seen a little more of the birds and a little less of the green at the top. Their back ends and feet are cut off. My only complaint. Good luck in the challenge. |

Natures Refereeby TarbiniComment: I personally think that this would have been better in black & white with just a little more zebra would be more suitable here. It would bring out the pattern of the markings better. The green negative space is very distracting to me. |

Mother And Childby bruster54Comment: Unfortunately, they are in the shadows and it's hard to see the animals, especially the little guy. Judging from the placement of the shadow of the mom, it looks like it's high noon...perhaps waiting just a little later in the day would have helped. |

Orangeby soldatbigrasComment: Unfortunately, it's hard to get close to these birds to get a nice clear shot, but it's a must. I can tell that you compensated by sharpening because it caused a lot of artifact that's fairly distracting. However, the colors are nice and I am able to see some detail in the markings of the robin. Good luck in the challenge. |
