nice photograph, but unfortunately a bit to unsharp and the wings are not completely on the picture

It could be better if the image is sharper.
Nice Shot!

Very nice catch! I know these are very difficult shots... just wish it were a little more in focus.

If the whole bird was in the frame, 10 easily. So settle for 9

seems a bit out of focus - great capture though - looks like he's headed right for your camera

Wonderful shot. You've been very lucky to catch it against a cloudless sky too - this is an extremnely effective photo. Well done.

I wish his head was a bit more distinct and the crop wasn't as tight. However given the difficult subject, I love that you caught him in motion, it's a very interesting picture.

I would have liked more focus. But I know you don't get many chances at a shot like this, and it's tough to focus on a moving object, especially if it's about to come and violently take your camera.

Nice osprey.. A bit fuzzy but good.

The hawk's(?) wings seem to be out of focus. More depth of field or a faster shutter speed may add impact to this type of photo.

This is a magnificant shot! How you got your camera positioned just right to get his midsection and head in focus is beyond me. Even though it's just a tad blurry, it's forgiven in this instance. The lighting on him is perfect. I don't know if you noticed it before you submitted, but there is a sliver of picture missing in the top right portion.

Good grief, if he was looking at me that way I think I'd say "okay, forget dpchallenge" and RUN! :)

Wow!! Nice capture. Almost in focus! Even so, you can still see the expression of this magnificant bird as he's hunting. Lighting couldn't have been more perfect. I'm quite impressed.
