9 bucks?!?! I'm in! Great creativity and a wonderful (read HOT) model! The scene plays very well together to produce a strong mood and a feeling of failure. The only distraction is the big shadow on the wall over the lucky man that just got an amazing deal. Really nice capture.

Your tones almost blend together here. The branch and the sky are too close to the same tone. I think a higher shooting angle would have helped out.

I like the deep blue sky and the angle you chose for the shot. Together they provide for a very nice composition. I just don't get the failure.

Also, failure to make a good breakfast. Nicely seen and very well captured. The black part of the frame is a little too much, but still a great image. Did you feel bad after you tossed that out of the nest? (KIDDING)

While I like the toning of the capture, the blurred foreground is a bit distracting to me. I do like the shallow depth of field, I'd just prefer that the focus was more toward the from than the dead center of the photograph. Very interesting shadows and great texture.

I like the selective desaturation, but he really gets lost in the busy background. I think a little closer composition would help a great deal.

The lighting is a little off. The shadows are on your subject, while the highlights are limited to the background. Spinning him around and shooting from the other side would be a big help.

Great lighting and nice tones, but this one makes me think too much. I like the various tones produced by the different lighting.

Man, that's gonna suck, but it sure is good for clearing the sinuses. Great timing and great capture, but the tilt really bothers me. Its one of my biggest pet peeves.

HA! My wife is the same way! I like the idea, but the backlighting is a little too harsh. A darker curtain or temporary backdrop would have been an improvement.
