My first thoughts without reading your title was that this city really looks like compueter crap. An so it was.

Good comp, great texture, good light, good color, the blue bg is way flat for me, no dimensional value so therefor dof lost, nice movement, nice lines

A couple things.

The bird is distracting. Advanced rules will let you clone things out to improve the pix.

Even though the angle you chose is good, there must of been an even better angle to frame out the buildings, and frame in more of the arch.

This would of been a great image if you had just the building. Framing out the sign, and the sky would of given a better impression of what you were after. As it is, I know which way is up, therefor all i see is a picture the wrong way.
