Rings of Timeby TarbiniComment: I once visited a institute specialized in dendrochronologic studies. They can date with great precision wood remains, found in archeological digs, that came from trees cut down 5000 year ago!. Good idea, some may, however, find that the concept of number is a little unclear is this image.

Dead of Winterby byetkoComment: This dark border makes it like looking through a window from the inside. A lighter or no border at all would allow the viewer to wander more and imagine the surroundings where its eye is lead and give a greater sense of space to the composition. |
