Blueberries take on such a nice patina don't they? They have this instant "rustic" appeal... and even more so in this image due to the fact that they appear to be resting on an old bit of wood..my only tiny nitpick is the thin white border...I don't mind the black, I actually like a thin black border...but that thin white line is a little distracting...JMO...I'm still lovin' that patina though...beautiful berries...one of my favorite images.

no "princess" here...but this is a good thing...

but this is what I like about this image...to me it seems to be more than just the typical pretty little girl image...I am detecting a bit of actual "attitude" happening here...completely natural...authentic and real...fresh and clean...one of the ways portraits are served up best.

It is really nice to see something other than a bug or flower...the only thing that bothers me slightly about this image is the lighting...it seems very flat...perhaps it's the white background adding to this? I keep wanting to see more light and shadow play.

I bet it had good text too ; } ...excellent depth of field...a very "modern" graphic-ish image...sometimes it nice to see an image with no green in it.
