I do like her gaze...very wistful, I find myself wondering what she is thinking...but the processing is a bit over done for my taste. I think this would have been just as lovely, more so really, if we could see the "natural-ness" of her skin...it's texture, the imperfections...these are the things that make skin look "alive".

I must honestly say that I find the whole "head wrap" thing a bit played out...this image would have been just as lovely without the scarf...unless of course she is Muslim...then I might understand the head wrap.

An excellent portrait of a willow tree I must say...but if the center of our attention is to be the person standing in front of it...perhaps a closer crop might have been in order? Not a face only type of crop, but atleast one that is a little closer...I just can't stop looking at that tree...quite wonderful really...but maybe this is your intention? hmmmm...quite intriguing.

Please let me begin by saying this is only MY opinion...this is probably the 11th image I have encountered like this thus far, in this challenge alone...I'm not talking all of DPC...this "formula" is quite legendary...the head wrap, the gaze, "innocence"...but it is rather teetering on becoming a cliche...she is such a lovely little girl...perhaps I am wrong about the "formula" use here...yes, she is little red riding hood, yes...I like that...little red riding hood and she is confronting the big bad wolf...now that would be an intriguing idea! Imagine an entire series of such images...what fun! : }
