Statue of Mary In Church Garden

Critic Club review:

First the meets challenge well. Mary is a significant sacred lady of Christian faith and this site maybe used for pray/meditation.

The use of B&W works well on this subject. The light on white marble and shading is very good, and modified by the dark back ground and flowers in the foregraound are nice. The dof is right on.

The main downfall is where she is located on the shot. If you would have moved to the right, you could have removed the vertical wall and she wouldn't be looking off the photo but to the center.

Otherwise this is a great shot and I hope this helps a bit.

The only problem I see or really can't see is any texture. The flash too the shadows out so evetything appears flattened. Adding some contrast may help. The idea is nice though.
