School Fashionby mferg265Comment: Not sure I like this pose for this subject - seems too 'adult' to me. Also, the black boots get lost in the flooring. Bringing the lighter background down onto the floor and then up behind the subject would cure that. Love the outfit and the 'attitude', though, and aside from the pose (and wrinkled background) I could envision this in a children's fashion spread. |

bebe in black and blueby lagavulinComment: Classic 'model' pose, beautiful skin tones, nice concept. Maybe add a hair light to separate her hair from the background a little more. Otherwise the lighting is really nice. |

Nadineby glodaComment: Had you waited a second or two more and shot this without the people in the background, this would have scored much higher with me. Love the concept, love the rich colors, and I love her 'attitude'. Not too sure about the tilt, but since I can see that it was intentional, I'll not mark it down simply because it doesn't really appeal to me. The onlookers in the background, though, are a major distraction. |

No Tie Requiredby jenesisComment: the whole pic seems to tilt downhill a little to the right. Love the lighting and the pose, though. |

Low Rise by Keith ManiacComment: Excellent shot. Lighting, composition, skin tones, colors, pose - everything works nicely together. Love it. |

Expectancyby anthonyczajaComment: Great concept, good posing, and definately something I'd expect to see in a fashion magazine - except for the pole growing out of the top of her head. This could have been avoided by simply moving her a couple of feet to her left. Remember, always watch your background. |

The Lookby CutterComment: The only thing that throws this off for me is the tightness of the crop on the left side. I would like to see at least the edge of her hairline on the other side of her face to give it a little more definition. As it stands, she seems a little 'lop-sided' with no defining edge on the left. Also, perhaps a little more skin texture would be nice - she has a little bit of a plastic look to her. 'The Look', however, was captured perfectly. |

This season's must-have...by frogletComment: Fashion victim? Hmmm... perhaps it's a statement against the fashion industry? Or maybe just a tongue-in-cheek poke at the whole beauty establishment? :) I like the composition and set-up of this. The lighting is right - no distracting glare or shadows. Very nicely done. |

Modoby tjmuellerComment: Don't know if it's the lighting or her makeup, but her face is very yellow. I think it's the makeup, since her forearm isn't as yellow. The pose is ok, except for the placement of her hand - it would be far more flattering to have the back of her hand along the other side of her face. As it is now, it makes her hand and her jaw look overly large. |
