Free To Be You And Me!by BethieBComment: I like the crop and the composition of this, but the lighting seems a touch harsh. Also, it seems to have some haloing around the flowers, but I'm not sure if this is from sharpening, compression, or a filter effect. The background colors work really well to set off the yellow of the daylilies. |

pollen podsby redmoonComment: Nice use of DOF. The color is gorgeous - not too bright, not too muted. The area in the upper left is a bit distracting; perhaps a slightly tighter crop or a slightly different angle to omit that would work a little better. |

English Weedby sarsonukComment: The colors and composition are quite lovely, but the lighting is very harsh and some of the highlights are blown. |

Mourners flowersby LimboComment: I like the use of desat here. It really gives a lot to the meaning of the photo instead of just being used for the sake of using it. However, I think this would probably score higher if you were to use the full 640 pixel size limit. |

Blooms, Berries and Beeby vencapComment: I like the very unusual plant here, but the green stem in the upper left corner (grass?) is distracting. |

Natural Backlightingby tjbel05Comment: love the backlighting. I like how you've kept the texture and detail in the flower from being overwhelmed by the lighting. |

Ladybug's Vacationby DeniseBernadetteComment: lovely bright colors on this one. not too sure about the fact that the flowers are a little "raggedy", but I like the subject placement. |

Flower Powerby yankoComment: Like the title, and the use of partial desat really works well here, but perhaps another choice of flower color would have really made more of a connection to the 'power' aspect of it, IMO. |

Three generationsby MelethiaComment: Love the composition on this. The colors seem a little washed out, but it is not a major thing. |
