Excellent shot. I could picture this being in NG. I like the expression on the monkeys face and the way his eyes are directed. the focus on his eyes is great and the detail in his fur on his head is very good as well. 9

excellent color. Good sharp clear crisp pic. I can see this still life being a possible NG choice, but I don't say that with a lot of conviction. It is a very nice illustration of these pieces.

The framing of this shot couldn't be better. This is an excellent photojournalistic shot with some good creative stuff too. It is emotive and visually impacting and I think a great shot. Outside of the buliding is just a little extra hot. I totally understand why, but it still is hot. So you'll have to settle for 9

Urban Squirrel

The exposure on the squirrel is spot on. The snow is a little bright. Where is his cheeseburger? You just expect him to eat fries? This is a cute shot, but I'm not really sold on it being a great photo for this challenge. If he were in a tree, eating curly fries, then I think I'd be more apt to vote it higher. Really, its a good shot of the squirrel. I'm just not keen on the environment you shot him in.

This is not the greatest quality of photo. It is nicely composed and very topic appropriate. It's cutting off their heads though and it isn't super clear. This has a ton of potential to be a great shot, just not this one.

The sky seems a little bit off. Looks like a little noisy maybe. It has some nice colors, but I don't really see the point of this photo.
