this has a kind of cluttered artsy feel to it. I don't now whether it's just my monitor ir not, but the shadows seem kind of gray and the whites seem a bit blown out. the slight desaturation adds to the feel of the image, tho.

you have a very interesting scene here, especially with that dismembered house. I would have liked to see this with a more grungier editing treatment maybe...to bring out that darker mood of desolation, to match the surroundings.

I think the high contrast really adds to this. How it hides the persons face in shadow. the selective desat on the tiny pink/red fower is also a nice touch.

Hmmm...well. I think think the focus is a little too soft for me. the highlights in the wings also seem a bit blown out. a different angle and better focus could make this a really interesting pic.

this is nice, as it fits the definition pretty well. the crop seems a bit tight tho. i think the use of the rule of thirds could have helped the composition a bit. also, i like the feel you get from the high contrast, but seeing as how the texture of the grass and the dog's fur are very similar, the dog sort of blends in a little too much.
