Up and On To Bigger Thingsby nohareComment: Sorry, I just can't agree that this fits the theme of the challange. Interesting composition though. The cup in the front is a little burned out. |

Stairway to Heavenby diogenes350bceComment: So close. I think if you would have chosen a different time of day to shoot this, it would have been a lot better. As it stands, the patchiness of the sun is distracting. I also might have tried to move a little to the right to try and chop out the tree on the left side. |

cave inby clictacameraComment: Very soft focus. The building is too centered. It might have looked better if you would have moved a little to the right so that the peak would have been in the first 1/3 of the photo. |

1895 - Area's first hydroelectric stationby SDWComment: Very interesting building. For a B&W this turned out pretty good. It's too bad the water (or snow) was so white. I think lightening the picture a little would have brought out more detail. |

Pony Express Solano Houseby mdoltonComment: I don't think the contrast is strong enough. The big pine on the left detracts from the overall size and shape of the building. |

Closed for Businessby bryanbrazilComment: The white spots caught my attention first. They are just a touch too bright. I like the composition though. I like the viewing angle that you chose. The tree on the left keeps the viewer from running off the photo. |

In the Woodsby ZoomdakComment: This is a good photo. The building gets a little lost in the woods though. |

The Old Cabinby SiRaComment: I don't think the B&W works in this photo. The water looks like snow (or is it the snow looks like water). There appears to be some type of mist rising from the bank - can't tell what that is. |
