Day 18: Shoot the Moonby glad2badadComment: Yes you did. Great idea but it doesn't quite work. The backboard controls the image. Perhaps if you did a very tight crop with just a little bit of backboard and basket with the moon being more prominent. JMO.

Sparksby dtremainComment: It is quite busy and I have to agree with Brat. More pot or something that would anchor (and add contrast to) the activity. |

Urinals2Web1.jpgby cogeroxComment: I usually gravitate to the one furthest to the right, but then again that's just me. Great tonal quality in this photo and nice focus and perfect symmetry. Thanks for sharing.

Day 17 - Old chair.........by JLCComment: Nice subject matter for the composition. You may want to soften the BG and the subject is a bit too soft and maybe just a tad out of balance. Perhaps turn the chair a little askew and to the right. Of course then you'd have to move the pears to the bottom left. Crank up the contrast some.... Then again, maybe I'm over compensating.

Day 16 - Old and Neglectedby JLCComment: Nice gray tones and I love the lines of the trellis. I am not sure what the subject is. I assume the bench but it doesn't jump out at me. Perhaps a little more contrast would help bring out some detail and a tighter crop... Say from the front post to just right of that little column. |

17 - Waitingby BudComment: This looks like some of the scenes I saw along the Napo river. |

Secret Gardenby ordinaryangelComment: This is quite cool and I like the framing. It'd probably work much better enlarged. At this size I have no idea what I am looking at. It sort of looks like a garden but it also looks like all of the small internals of a house has burst all over the yard. rags, trash, is that an old barbie doll???
Of course it could be my monitor.

left behindby ordinaryangelComment: I like this shot a lot. It full of contrasts. The rough road and the smooth glass. The dead bulb in the FG and the bright lights in the BG. The DOF keeps it uncluttered. Great shot. |
