 I was in a boat, going up this creek, when we past these people (and a dog), on the riverbank, waiting for something. We shouted a "Hello" and then we were gone. I found it fascinating that they were just there at the river, seeming with all the time in the world.

Different crop that presented the guys more prominently in the frame would really do this shot more justice.

Like the way the dog is just as attentive as the people. Nice details and tones.

The people seem to be looking out of the photo. Cropping a bit from the left might be helpful to reduce that effect.

Awesome photo! I love the wonderful tones in the roots of that big tree and all the interesting things going on in the photo. I also love the inclusion of the side of your boat that really adds some great perspective to the shot. Excellent!
