Wisteria by GermaineComment: It almost has a 3d look to it. I keep wanting the flowers to be a little more crisp. However, the most common comment I get in challenges is, "over sharpened".

Week 10: Peaceful Situationby jasonlpriceComment: Lovely photo (s)he look very peaceful, and yes they can sleep through anything as well as holler through anything. That CS3's B&W command does a pretty damn good job. I'm gonna have to get me one of those pretty soon.

10 - Antonioby BudComment: What an interesting face, and gleam in his eye, and you have captured it perfectly. The FS version is wonderful and IMHO it should have scored better. The DOF is great with me as it helps keep my eyes on the face. I find the BG a little more distracting in this B&W version. Maybe if Antonio's face was lightened just a smidge. |

P3090320wk10.jpgby salmiakkiComment: Love the sharpness of this picture and the people add a wonderful sense of scale. Maybe some dodge and burn (mostly dodge) in the sky would add some interest there. |

Tracks to Nowhereby trevytrevComment: I like this a lot. It definitely has that cinematic feel and you nailed the exposure and B&W conversion. The only other thing I can say is that my mind wants to look down the track but my eye is drawn to the signal on the left. Maybe one of Larus' ladies walking in from the whiteout would be a great addition. :-) |

palm hairby AliciaComment: I like both images a lot. Wonderful exposure and contrast on the palm hair. I think I like the bokeh a little better. I do think that the bokeh could be tuned down just a notch though. |

Synergyby SandyPComment: Sandy, I love the feel of motion with the streaks of light. This is a great blur shot. I assume you did this by zooming out when you took the photo? |
