I find this interesting and fairly well balanced for an abstract. The stark blackness at the top corner bugs me as it doesn't match any of the other blackness, but it does help control the image. Good snipets of color. 7

great use of subject and photographer movement. I love the hues you used - limiting the color palette really forces viewer to pay attention to the subject. Very well toned and good work with your lights and darks. Only nit I have is the heads all being turned away. If one was looking at the camera, even blurry, it would really grab attention. Right now it is just interesting in passing, just as they are. 7

Your title is a contradiction to the aim of the challenge - it seems you didn't expect to focus on the bird as the bird shouldn't be there; your goal was to focus on the grass, which you did. I will ignore the title. I really like the blue contrasting with the gold - its like a vibrant peace. The bird, even out of focus, lends more movement to an already 'moving' image. I like that. Interesting piece. 7

I like this. Its a cliche shot but with a twist, one that works very well. I like the touches of red - they really force the focus of the viewer in a monochromatic world, which gives the image a little more depth. Fits the challenge. good capture. 7 bump to 9

I hate the title - its condescending. I think you did well with the image, just enough out of focus to get past the voters. The timing was excellent and the lighting really enhances the subject. To me, rather boring, but well done for challenge. 7 bump to 8

there are other out of focus city shots, but I think this one works. It has very controlled hues and great work on the tones. I like the balance of the poles and am glad you included both - they compliment/mimic the corner of the building. Very well seen and taken. 8
