Thrashedby trnqltyComment: Details in light and dark areas seem to be minimal (4 for technical alone.) I do need to make this comment... There are certain subjects that I hate to see used for Challenge set-ups, especially those about human tragedy. Spousal abuse, child abuse/exploitation, and suicide are 3 of the biggies. If she had an open bottle next to her for "Smashed" or "Trashed", it would have been not good, but a beaten wife on her wedding day??? My thinking may still be stuck "in the box" from the middle ages, but this is too "out of the box" for me.
I'm going to apologize to the photographer for reacting before checking on the Title. It turns out that it really was a Trashed Wedding Gown, not Thrashed. I'll not feel sorry for my stand on using human tragedy to win contests unless it's photojournalism, but I do feel badly if my comments spoiled what was a fun shoot. |

Lighthouse Drama by DrakeComment: There may be more famous Lighthouses, but living in the state with the most lighthouses (along 3000 miles+ of coastline, and accessible) is a blessing, isn't it?
The hard part isn't the Wintery shooting conditions, it's the driving conditions in Winter trying to get to the Lighthouses that limits us. Lucky (and smart!) you living where you do. Beautiful (and powerful) shot. Congratulations. |

Iridescence by AnnComment: Wasn't able to vote in this Challenge, but did take a gander at a couple of screens. When this little guy popped up, my first thought was - "Boy, this is going to be one of the top vote-getters!" All of us should be so talented as to get such an "unoriginal shot" as this one! Good Luck on your show next year. |

Replicationby pineappleComment: This is a neat shot, but it isn't "telling" me what colors these items would have been in a colorful world (which was my interpretation of the theme.) |

Autumn Offeringby RistyzComment: A little dark, but otherwise, beautifully done. The tones you've created don't have that flat grayness to them. The non-colored "colors" pop right out at you. |
