Looked at this a second time. You have captured something nicely here. There was no way to get more in the photo. DOF is what it is. Beams are just there. Good luck.

This was not what I would expect. Subject could be smaller. If you could get up to look down over the shoulder what would one see. The sky is nice but looks up.
