Jump!by RistyzComment: Pay no attention to the guys who object to the noise in th background. This is an exceptional variation on the dandilion shot. Very nice. |

In Her Own Skinby charmayneComment: Great DOF. Nice Colors & Lighting. The expression is quite ambiguous. Slightly pensive, perhaps. There seems to be something missing, a bit, from the photo, don't know what it is.
One might try cropping the photo in such a way as to remove all the background from behind the subject and the top of the head. This focuses our attention on the eyes and lips a bit more, which I think, strengthens the photo. |

The Getawayby CoozComment: The lighting and texture are superb. Framing is super. Ordinarily I would wish to see the subject's face just a little better; but somehow, the fact that we see both hands so well makes up for it. |

Hang on!by MikeOComment: Sometimes freedom is 'no strings attached.' This would not appear to be one of those times. It's an unusual shot. The subject is perfectly placed in the photo. Exposure is perfect. Great lines ( in more ways than one.} |

Soloby nico_blueComment: Exquisite. At first we think 'this could only have been taken in Europe: Americans simply don't use nice wooden chairs outside." And then we think " This could only be taken in America: Europeans do not play cellos in jeans and black running shoes." This defiance of categorization adds to its beauty immensely. The lighting, texture, colors, framing, and all are very nice. One wishes, just a bit, that the subject's head did not so nearly match the mottled background. And one wonders whether taking the blue out killed some subtle highlights in the shirt, shoes, and case. (if so, some channel mixing might have worked here.) Still, it's a lovely shot. |

Fisherman at Duskby Bear_MusicComment: I should be very surprised if this is what the camera saw - looks like we just took the green gamma curve down a few notches. It's a little wierd, but it mostly works, I think. The stick in the foreground is a problem. And the white whatsit behind the fisherman is a distraction. Otherwise, a good effort. |

First Friday night with dads carby lawlessComment: Nice concept. This is a very unusual point of view. I love the texture of the hand and of the denim. It's great to see the car, but I'm finding the headlight just a little overpowering. I've tried looking at it with all the headlight cropped out fully and half of it cropped out, and I think I agree that its existence is necessary to set up a kind of visual tension that parallels the tension of the 'dad' in the title: still, I think if it were half gone the tension would still be there. Love to know what you think. |

Moonlighting Carpentersby GeneralEComment: Talk about framing a shot!. I love it. I wonder if you considered cropping a bit off the top. I think it might be better, possibly, if much of the wood lintel were cropped off. And I do wish I could see the faces just a little bit better. Still, it's a fun point of view |

Freedom from the Balloonby jrtoddComment: This is a very interesting shot. There are ways I can imagine to improve it, but I can see you are so far ahead of me you don't need my help. |
