Great shot and excellent colors. I wonder if maybe the crop should have moved the peas a little more into it. Not to the center of course, I'd just like to see the rest of that big one on the top right.

OK, I was hungry, but this took it away. Not that I don't like the shot - It's a cool idea. Just the idea of peas turned baby-food... ick. I really like the two that escaped. They give the shot a clever point of interest.

Great idea and good bokeh effect. I think your DOF is a little too tight, making the edges blurry. Since there is little detail on the focused surface, it looks like it's not as sharp as I think it really is.

Good idea. You might want to try this with a little fill light on the pea. It's the subject of the shot and is a little dark. Hard to do though I know. Maybe a little post-process dodge?

I really like this one. The deep DOF draws the attention to the guy just enough so we see that he is looking into her eyes while she looks away into the camera. He has eyes only for her, while she seems a little aloof - and yet she leans into him.

Maybe I'm seeing more than was intended, but I have a literature degree. we see everything whether the author intended it or not.

Either way, this is a very good cross-over image (between portrait and candid). Keep shooting.
