 Though it looks soft, it actually is in focus, I liked it because it was very "modern" to me :P

Great idea and good bokeh effect. I think your DOF is a little too tight, making the edges blurry. Since there is little detail on the focused surface, it looks like it's not as sharp as I think it really is.
