Cheerfulby paynekjComment: Very good use of light and contrast. You manage to convey cheer, even with a dark shadowy background.
Nice Image. |

Bookwormby lambie83Comment: This is a nice image that tells your story of a bookworm pretty well. I think it could use some hue adjustment to pull down the greens. They seem a little heavy because of the background and the book itself. Also, sharpening would have made her eyes brighter and brought out the specs more. |

Firebreatherby keibo84Comment: Now this is a different take. Good layout. Hard to keep the noise out without over-blowing the light from the flames.
Nice shot. |

...inquiZitive........by louispComment: Good fill-the-frame idea. But a little dark. Also there's a bright spot on the forehead that's a little distracting. (I did the same thing on my entry.) |

Can I Help You?by jeroweComment: Pretty subject and good composition. I like it, but wish there was a little more to her expression. |

Jealousyby David NewlandComment: Quirky but very well lit. An interesting direction. The angles and smirk work well together. |

What!?by outlandComment: Good intensity and color. A little light in the eyes might make this a little better IMO. |

Ginger oasisby KrisbyComment: Veru pretty. I have red head daughter that wears this very expression from time to time.
Good clarity on her eye, especially behind the specs. |

An Early Morning Portraitby if_imagesComment: Pretty good portrait, seemingly capturing a bit of his character. I find myself wondering what he's leaning on. The cut out line is just enough to make me curious, but not enough to really see what it is. If it was an obvious desk or counter top perhaps I would be less likely to give it a second thought. Jut my humble opinion. |
