The backlighting and fuzzy appearance spoil this image. The framing could have been better including the footof the squirrel and maybe cropping some of the detracting background.

A photo of a squirrel, but not a particularly strong image. The picture is not very sharp and it's a pity the eye has reflected the flash (if that is what caused it?). The branches both behind and in front of the subject are distracting. Having said all that I appreciate that getting closer was probably not an option! Certainly looks like a squirrels natural environment.

I like the inclusion of people in this shot. The trees help too, it gives the feeling that the display is for people rather than a firework picture on its own which is more abstract.
